Last month, the IACC took part in the National Grocers Association’s DRE Meeting in Stowe, Vermont. Executive Director Federico Tozzi and members Pomì, Garofalo, Ruffino Estates, Monini and Coop Italia presented to attendees, sharing research, industry insights and emerging trends in the Italian gourmet and specialty food products industry. Participants took advantage of a robust program of activities and events geared toward giving them a competitive advantage in the grocery retail marketplace and learned about a variety of PDO/PGI products from Italy though the IACC’s True Italian Taste Initiative.
