On Sunday, October 13, over 250 guests joined us at Cipriani Broadway for “Italea: A Journey to Your Roots,” organized on behalf of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Participants experienced an immersive evening celebrating Italian culture, heritage, and the great legacy of Italian diaspora in the United States. Guests enjoyed live musical performances, high-level networking opportunities and a sumptuous and elegant cocktail reception featuring authentic Italian regional specialties.


Italea is an initiative launched by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to promote ancestry tourism and support people of Italian descent in discovering the places and traditions of their origins through heritage travel and other genealogy-related resources. Italea invites you on a guided  journey to (re)discover the places, customs, and culture of your ancestors.
